Physical Therapy

Our physical therapy team provides care to people who have functional problems resulting from falls and fractures; hip or knee replacements; arthritis; amputations; heart conditions; respiratory complications, pain management, wound healing, and many other conditions.

Our therapists work with family and community resources to maximize the patient’s rehabilitation process to improve function and restore activity.

Therapy may include modalities such as electrical stimulation and ultrasound, manual therapy, and kinesio taping.

A physical therapist evaluates components of movement including:

  • Strength
  • Range of motion
  • Flexibility
  • Balance
  • Posture
  • Body mechanics
  • Coordination
  • Endurance
  • General mobility (walking, stair climbing, getting in and out of bed or chairs)
