The Dove Philosophy Statement

Dove Home Care was established in 1981, as a professional nursing service, providing home care for the Superior area, also including rural health care. The Dove’s objectives continue to be:

• To strengthen, safeguard, and enhance the Dove philosophy and identity as a presence in health services management.
• To facilitate the sharing of resources and the development of a sense of community within health services.
• To maintain a service which facilitates collaboration with others in a mission of healing.
• To provide caring and competent, supportive health care, safely in the home setting
• Providing a serious commitment to clients is the main priorty of Dove.

Based on the beliefs inherent in the Statement of Philosophy, the mission of The Dove is to develop and continue a health care service which promotes values that call us to revere life, love, justice, compassion and service to others, including the poor, sick, and powerless

The availability of resources and energy of the Dove will be directed towards seeking out, initiating, promoting, sustaining, and supporting those health care services which have a liberating force and enable people to realize their optimal fullness of being, whatever their status or circumstances.

To support senior and persons with disabilities to maintain and/or regain independence and to comfort those in the final stages of life
